| I have a Shorelander roller trailer. I have been having trouble for the past couple months with getting my Alumacraft Magnum properly aligned when trailering it. Regardless of how I line it up in the water it ends up coming onto the trailer to far to
the left (looking from bow to stern). Not sure it's a big deal but would prefer it be more centered. This is a new rig to me this year. I did not have this problem for most of the year- but seems to be consistently loading to the one side now.
Any ideas what might be happening and how I can correct it.

| I have a Shorelandr roller myself and I have found it much easier to get my boat on the trailer straight if I winch it on by hand instead of driving on. I also quit backing my trailer in so far. I only back it in so the rear step on the fender is just touching the water. I then pull it on straight with a rope and then attach the winch strap and winch it on manually. I just have to make sure I get the keel lined up in the middle of the furthest back middle roller. It takes a while to get your own system that works, but when you do it will get much easier. Location: Minneapolis, MN | We have a shorelander roller and 2012 alumacraft as well and just like the person above, more times then not we load by winching the boat on rather than driving it on. We back the trailer in so that half of the center roller closest to the vehicle is under water and then pull it in with a rope until we can hook up the strap and bring it in the rest of the way by winch. May seem like more work to some but we are usually in and out faster than most people who are trying to drive their boat on. I guess if you were really set on driving it on you could get some guideons and set them to center the boat for you. |

Location: North Central, Indiana | I have found if its not centered just leave the back tie down straps a little loose and it will bounce back to center going down the road.. works for me. |

| Dont back the trailer in the water so far and winch it on as others have said. I have same trailer and this is the best way to load.
I will idle my boat onto the trailer and allow it to hold in place while I attach the winch strap, but then winch the rest of the way up. it gets on straight every time provided the landing is level and there isnt cross current. |

| Thanks for the suggestions. I always winch the boat on. I will continue to experiment with how far in I back the trailer. The boat did center itself on the trailer while driving on Saturday.

Location: Hayward, WI | Had a Pro V-Lund with Shorelander and had same problem. Switched it to bunks from rollers and it helped somewhat. Lund said that the shorelander with their boat was the problem. Not backing in as much is the best solution!! I sold the Lund and that worked also.

| Same problem. Pro-V. Solved by making sure the trailer is level. Not easy at all landings. Sometimes I have to angle the trailer to make it level. But pure and simple the trailer has to be level. |

| Got the shorelander roller trailer also.... Yep as has been said already-----Level landing and no current ( you can't always control that ) But I have found that I can drive or winch it up best and straight if The Trailer is not so far and deep in the water. Less is more in this case. |

| I drive mine on partially and then winch it the rest. It's a Lund with a Shorelander trailer. If it doesn't center perfectly as I'm winching it the rest of the way I'll leave it about 3 feet or so back and then hop up on the side it's pointed towards and shove the bow over to center it myself. You don't have to be hercules to do this and about 50% of the time I have to do this. It sure beats the heck out of banging my head against the wall backing it off and trying to run it up straight from the very beginning. |

Location: Ames, Iowa | x4 on the winch it up vs driving it all the way up. Slower tends to center itself better. Also having an 18 year old in the boat to help center it pushing or holding onto a guideon helps. |
