| Just wanted to ask people on here who might know I have an 8'6" musky mayhem avaio medium heavy rod was wondering if it would be ok to throw pounders with going on a trip to st clair and dont really want to buy a new rod if I dont have too |

| I think mag dawgs are a stretch on the MH, but can be done. Pounders are a stretch, but can be done on the heavy.
I don't think there is any way you can toss pounders on the MH. If you manage to lob it out there it will be very tough to set hooks.
