Hit the chain again this afternoon. Water temp was 72, starting to cool down just a
little bit after those real hot days. Started out slow, my son & I each had a follow up
to the boat, but couldn't get em to eat. A little while later I picked up this dude. Thought you guys might like to see it. Biggest pike I've ever caught, it was a solid
41" & heavy. Thought it was a musky at first when it hit next to the boat, but it was
fighting different, then got her up & could see what it was. Cut the hooks out, quick
picture & she's still swimming out there for the next guy.

That's BIG pike for Fox Chain O Lakes. I think old state record pike years ago came from Lake Marie but I cant remember.

Wow! Thats a great pike! One of the biggest that Ive seen from there. Congrats on a great fish. The Chain has put out some real nice fish this year!
