Just curious, how many follows from the same fish have you ever had in a row? Last year my brother and I were out fishing Minnetonka and we had the same fish follow our spinnerbaits five or six times.

What about everyone else?

This Spring I had a big girl (est. 52) follow 6 times in a row within about 2 minutes. 5 times out of the exact spot and the other time was right after she swam off a different direction. Nipped on two follows but couldn't stick her. She spawn and was never to be seen again this summer. I will be out looking for her next Spring. Biggest fish I have seen out of that small river.

Last season a buddy took me out. Had a good day on the water. The first fish we had up went into his figure 8 and ate at the boat. He just barley stuck her. About an hour later (after hitting some other spots) we went back. Right as he said "this is where we had that bigger fish up right" I tossed a cast and she ate almost instantly. It was my PB of 47" and the pic on my profile. She also had only one eye.

Had a fish up 3 times in 15 minutes 2 seasons ago. She did eat on the third time in the 8 but I lost her almost instantly.

I went on a long weekend trip earlier this summer. First night out I boated a mid-40's on top water on the tip of a long weed point. She followed once, then came back and hit on the 8 on the second cast. I then proceeded to move that exact same mid 40's on 4 of my next 5 trips out on that lake in the exact same spot on the same bait. I knew it was her because it was the same size and I could see the marks on the corner of her mouth from where I hooked her the first time. Each time I saw her after that first night she just followed lazily, almost like she was just escorting that bait out of her area, but she knew better than to hit it again.

A few years back my brother and I had the same fish up for almost 30 minutes. It would follow anything but would not eat. It would go into an l turn, figure 8, circle, etc and slide off. Next cast and she would do the same thing. We went through every bait we both had and it would engage them all except surface baits. Didn't want those. Frustrating....finally we just left that area and came back an hour later. Never raised it that time.

About 3 years ago me and my buddy had the same fish, about 38", follow about 8 times in a row. She would come in and sink away or turn away. She kept reappearing but wouldn't eat! Tried different speeds and presentations. Frustrating fish.

A couple years ago I had the same fish follow my Top raider five casts in a row and hammered it on the sixth cast. A 42 incher that was in about 2 ft of water. We were floating down a river in a 12' boat and had no way to come back on it so I kept plugging away and it paid off. Normally I wouldn't continue to throw the same bait repeatedly but it worked that time.
