| Looking for advice on how to fish the Flowage. I have been going up there for several years and haven't had any luck with the muskie. I am going up the first weekend in October. Me and my dad have never caught one and I would love for us both to hook into a giant muskie while we go. Anyone got any advice on how to go about catching one besides hiring a guide. Lures, time of day, locations, weeds, rocks, trees, flats, saddles, any advice would help greatly! Thanks in advance and for reference I am primarily around the Treeland's and R&R area for fishing. |

Location: WI | Draggin' meat seems to work that time of year. Throwing Suicks, Reef Hawgs, Hawg Teasers while soaking a sucker just should get a fish or 2 excited. |

Location: northern indiana | Chartreuse and black and also walleye or carp patterns were the ticket last year at that time. Also, kicken minnow gets a ton of action. Buddies have success with hellhounds and double dawgs in the rocks. |

Location: Milwaukee, WI | I know this is common advice, and I recognize that it may not work financially, but my advice for fishing the chip is to hire a guide. Its a tough body of water to fish in that the weeds and spots change so much from year to year and throughout the season that its really difficult to show up there once a year and quickly get dialed in to where the fish are. Spend a day, or a half day, with a guide and have him show you as many spots as possible.
FWIW, I was up there the last week of August and fished Musky Bay between R&R and Treelands a good amount. Some great weeds on the south side of Musky Bay this year, but I never saw a fish there. Talked to a few other regulars and they hadn't had any action there either. Maybe some better action in October, but honestly, I have no idea. |

| If Ty is booked you may want to try Daryl Neibauer, owner of Bitten Tackle. He was recommended to me when Ty was full. Was money well spent, even with having fished the body of water before. |
