| Going to be getting some new things soon on MTO and i'm thinking about getting one of these. Just wondering what your guys thoughts are on them and your experiences using them as well as what been your most productive color patterns in them. Any input would be appreciated thanks. |

| I have some Wade's in both sizes, some weighted, some not, in perch, firetiger and walleye colors. I wanted to try something different than my Suick's, which can be a little finicky at times.
I find that the Wade's tend to run a little deeper than other chop and dive baits. They are easy to use (they pull quite straight and true) and they never need tuning, so they are great that way. But they haven't moved fish for me like a Suick can.
I have tied a little bucktail to the trailing treble, I just like how it looks and I've heard of other guys doing it. As for color, who knows on any given day. I have actually only caught one fish on a Wades. It was the smaller one in perch color.
I don't regret having them.( I should have only bought one or two tho.) You never know when the fish want a particular lure. I had never any luck with my Sandcat until this summer when it was the only lure to move and catch fish one day. (The Sandcat doesn't run as deep, it never needs tuning either, and it is an easy bait to pull with a kinda lazy wobble to it.)
In summary, the Wades's is a decent bait that some guys swear by, but not in the same league as my Suick's, at least for me.

| Great bait. Like them a lot. Have had good success with hard pulls followed by extended pause. The best ones will have a distinct "back up" on the pause which is a great trigger. 7" unweighted is favorite and I throw it without any modifications. |

Location: Eastern Ontario | I remove the rear hook and glue a big plastic grub on the back it catches fish. I don't use it as often as my Suicks from which I also remove the back hook as that is the one that does eye damage. I don't feel I loose many fish with only 2 hooks. |

| I have seen more fish caught on Wade's then anything else. The guy that took us out muskie fishing the first few years used them all the time and I have seen big fish put in the boat with them day in and day out. For example 3 of us went fishing at LOTW for 3 days for the 4th of July weekend and landed 9 muskies and 8 of the 9 were caught on a wades wobbler. I moved fish throwing dogs, cowgirls, mepps, and everything in my tackle box. Wade's was the bait for that trip. I have seen 3 or 4 50 in been caught on it and I have caught a lot of big pike on them as well. So, I'd say they are a good bait but then again I rarely throw suicks. That's just my 2 cents. Good luck fishing. |

Location: Minnesota: where it's tough to be a sportsfan! | I have some older brown/yellow perch colored ones in both shallow and deep models. I might have other colors too but they never get a boat ride like these do. Personally I find the Wades to be allot more "stable" than Suicks. I have some Suicks that I have a bugger of a time to get tuned in. |
