| What's everyones opinion on these? They seem to have quite a bit more drag than pounders. Anyone think this bait is TOO BIG for.mid summer muskies? |
|
|
|
| Never too big for muskies at any time. The FFG even stuck a 55 on one in November. Great baits and a different vibration pattern than other big rubber. |

| Those things suck to cast.. I have a monster Firetiger that I cast a few times If I really feel the big bait urge. A Pounder Dawg feels like a Regular Dawg to cast and retrieve compared to the Monster Medussa. |

| Nolan I completely agree. I've had a pig follow but that's it on these baits. |

| Planer boards are much more user friendly. |

| I think fishing a Monster Medussa is less taxing than burning big blades, but maybe that's just me. |

| its not too big for summer fish, but its a real wrist breaker, too much drag, and a real mess to cast in the wind...if you work it super slow then its a little easier. |

Get the sand outta yer vag. If you throw it, they will eat it. Stupid fish try to eat planer boards too. Agree. Lol |

|
| Yeah...they don't work at all! Nobody should throw them!

| Do you only eat turkey on thanksgiving? Yes, they will work in the summer. Two weeks ago I got one on the 8 with one, and last week I didn't hook up but that was the only bait they would even follow. |

| They work in the summer. Period.
If you want to cast them, fish eat them. Even low 40's fish.
