Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Here are some of Stan Durst's creations that live in my collection.
The first are some Zam repaints. The second is July 2012, I recovered my favorite Stan Durst creation (Stump Knocker Jake) from ~8-10 FOW. How the heck did that lure get hung like that? My brother inlaw Bill said that thing was heavy, I lifted it from the bottom, couldn't get the lure with the lure retriever. Was going to take a swim as a last resort to ger her back. I caught a 44" on this lure at the original MF Cass Lake outing. That fish broke a very long drought for me.
The photo doesn't really do Stan's airbrush work justice, those lures have been kissed with Stan's special touch with phase shifting paints.
If you have any, lets see your Stan Durst creations.
Have fun!

| Nice fish! Couldn't help but notice what appears to be a bloody foot in the background in the boat. Is that a new bait too? LOL! I think it is a glove but first impressions.... | |
