| I'll be heading up to sabaskon bay this weekend, which happens to be week 1 in the nfl. Anybody ever been able to pick up the Vikings game on any of the radio stations up there? |

Location: Lake Country, Wisconsin | try 92.5 it is a country music station out of Baudette but it looks like they might carry the Vikings games.
Not sure how far that signal goes but I had it clear as day last week up in the NW Angle. |

Check that out...nearest Vikings Radio Network station is I Falls. 104.1 FM or KKWQ out of Roseau, 92.5 as previously mentioned.

| I am the original poster of this thread. Figured its about time to finally join the site. Thanks for the input on trying to find the game on the radio. Nothing better than combing two of my favorite things while on the water. Yes, I don't have any real hope for the vikes this year, but still like to watch our listen to them play.

Location: Warroad, Mn | KKWQ (92.5 FM) does carry the Vikes. They are actually located in Warroad. I usually can get a good signal till about 30 miles east of Baudette. Not sure at Morson, but I think so. I could get this station in Whitefish Bay most of the time with a good radio.

Location: Lake of the Woods, Morson, Ontario | 92.5 FM out of Warroad will come in clear on almost all decent radios up here around the mainland. Have never tried tuning it in out on the water, but assuming it would be fine with a decent radio in the boat, as Doug mentioned.
Having said all that, satellite radio is the way to go. More and more people using them in the vehicle, boat and cabins on their trips the last couple years.
Enjoy your trip to the area. |
