| I have a boat leak. 1992 Tuffy Rampage. I had an issue last year, so in the spring I resiliconed all outer screws. One transducer screw was definitely part of the problem, but not entirely. I filled the boat partially with water inside to see if it would leak out. Nothing leaked out on the below waterline screws or the plug. Checked the live well hoses for rot or water drip and they appeared fine while it was in the water. It's not the bow eye, as its above water line and it takes on water while sitting at the dock. Probably a gallon or two overnight. Manageable, but it would be nice to find it. The boat is old, all original and in good shape. I crawled underneath and nothing alarming. I was going to fill it up inside in driveway with a little more water and check again. Does anybody have any other tricks I could try to locate the leak? |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Livewell pump. Bad O ring, connection, or hose. Fill the livewell all the way with a hose, plugging the overflow and fill pipe. Look at the hoses and connections for water leaking out. That will find the leak. |

Location: Elgin, IL | I can tell ya that it is a pain in the tush. Having same problem since late last year. Siliconed screws including bolts on kicker. Took hoses apart and cleaned rubber seals of debris. Let water sit after getting water in on last outing. Not a drip going out.
And just today I was thinking hey maybe water pump. Thanks Sworrall. Will make it next check. Livewell does fill up as well. But not as bad as in beginning. |

Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | I had a leak on Esox Maniac that drove me crazy because I couldn't see where it was coming from on the water - I literally filled the boat with water sitting on the trailer - water comes out of live well drain. Leak found - now the task is, remove the gas tank to get to it- no small job!
Good luck!

| Overflow hose leak. It looks like both ends had a steady drip. New hose in place and will see if that's all it is. She'll be launched in Eagle Lake October 12th.
Thanks Guys!
