Subject: Madison Chain 45" size Limit


Your vote is much neaded on april 14 at the spring DNR hearings.I sat in on a DNR meating on monday to talk about the proposal.Lakes Monona,Waubesa and Wingra and the waters that connect them will be included in the 45" limit. If the rule is not changed,musky fisheries in Madison will not be managed at their optimum potential.And the musky populations in these lakes will remain average,and high quality opportunities will not be realized.Thank you for your and be sure to vote for it.[:)]

They need that limit for musky. They also need a 1 fish 18" limit on bass and a 1 fish 36" limit on pike and keep mendotas pike limit where it's at. They can produce these fish why not manage them that way?

Opps! sorry about the previous post. i fired too soon.
not used to the new format i guess.
man, do they need to vote this in. i've seen guys
bonk 3 footers on the head a couple of times, and
heard similar stories from some of the regulars
on the chain. let's hope common sense prevails.
why on earth would anyone oppose a 45" limit on
these bodies of water?
