My pregnant wife, my 18 month old son and I headed out to do some pike fishing in the morning. I held my son on my lap while I ran the terrova from the drivers seat. Started of hot with a 40 inch class pike following hot to the boat. Moments later my wife put a nice 37 inch pike on the boat. It was my sons first exposure to a large fish and he was ecstatic. We floated through some bull rushes and my wife had a massive hit. The water erupted and sure enough she had a big Muskie hooked. As the fish neared the boat my wife free spooled to give the fish some line and the reel would not click back. I quickly fixed the problem and grabbed the net. As I net the fish I look to back to watch my son throw a rod over the side of the boat with a casting motion. Here are some photos. My wife's personal best of 49.5 inches.

Nice fish!

I have a feeling you will see more women than usual at the top of the Muskies Inc. Llunge Log in the up-and-coming years.
