The musky world lost one of it Legends this week. Bruce Tasker, Chippewa Flowage Musky Guide for over 50 years passed away. After coming back from a stroke some time ago, he departed us at the age of 83. Bruce was considered a real gentleman and super musky guide by all that knew him. I was fortunate to have known Bruce and consided him a friend and fellow guide. He was one of the original members of the Hayward Guide Service. His smiling face will be missed.

Wake will be Sunday from 3 to 6 and the funeral will take place Monday morning. Tenative time is 11:00 a.m. at Anderson-Nathan Funeral Home in Hayward.

Musky regards,
Larry Ramsell

Sorry to hear the Muskie world has lost a legend. I never had the honor of meeting him. Sincere sympathies to his family and friends from all of us at MuskieFIRST.

i had a chance to fish with Bruce once, and i
would agree that he was a first rate person
and just a straight on musky guide. if there
was a wisconsin musky guide hall of fame, he
would be a charter member.
