One more year is in the books and we have a repeat champion, Team Chariton/Wege have done it again!! Brett and Chris boated 9 fish this season and in week 11 they tripled on the Moens to seal the deal. There were a total of 31 fish caught this year with the 45.5 being the big fish which is the smallest big fish in quite a few years, but a nice fatty nonetheless. All teams but one registered at least one fish. I finally caught a fish during league hours this year not 20 minutes too early which seemed to be a regular occurance the past few years. I got to fish with my dad again as my partner, 13 weeks of spending time on the water with him is priceless!! The average size fish was 38.92 inches which is right in line with the last few years. Congrats to Dave Stewart of league for catching the largest fish in the National Championship tournament last weekend, a beastly 49! All in all another great year of league!! We'll do it again next year........... Dave Jonesi
