Pink is the new chartreuse. I tied up a pink bucktail with a nickel blade a few years back & put 3 muskies in the boat & about a dozen pike on LSC. Haven't used it much since. It's probably about time that I start using it again since my musky season has sucked so far.

Pink are some of my best selling colors that nobody talks about... I have about 40 pink lure SKUs in my product lines because of it. Can't remember the booth at the musky shows but there is a wall of pink in one retailers booth and its a sight to see

Funny you posted that Kingfisher. I thought I would take a chance on the color scheme. Then I see this post today. Then I see my bait! It must be a sign. Hopefully I'll have something big and sloppy to post in this thread. My 12 year old did say he will not fish with it...

It must be a sign I have had some success with Pink and Purple in the past. That Slasher has a Candy Apple red back with Magenta sides and florescent pink belly. The scale is the old Chameleon Lilac . Guides choice pro shop has an entire section of Pink lures so I dont think Pink is a bad choice. You just need to find the best conditions to use it. My guess is clear water on a mostly cloudy day or maybe stained water on a bright day. Mike

I have a Pink 13" Grandma that is by far my best trolling lure. I also have one in natural perch and it has never caught a fish but the pink one gets a fish almost every trip. I only troll 4 or 5 times a year and that is always around Thanksgiving.

Just got back from 3 days on the Georgian Bay with the Team Eddie Fitz Ladies Auxiliary. She has an entire bag of pink lures and any time the sun peeked through they were pure magic.
