If anyone is looking to repair some plastics baits Mend-it works great. Had a bulldawg that was literally cut in half by a musky and now it's as good as new!

Key with Mend-It is to let the bait sit for at least an hour. 24 hours is best. Need to let the solvent evaporate completely to give the new bond maximum adherence. If you want to fix and fish, use a small lighter torch. Uglier but you are fishing right away.

pepople tell me theres a product with the same stuff sold at hobby stores under a different name, you get about 4 times the volume for the same price

Even if you have old swimbaits with no tails, don't throw them away. I make extra tails, Shack Attack has some, Tyrant Tackle may have some, etc. You can even use big bodies grub tails to fix your old swimbaits back up and my customers swear by this....the uglier and more grotesque a swimbait is, the more fish it boats.
