Thats a good question. I just bought a Navionics Platinum chip that I will get to use August 17-24. I'll report back.
What part of the lake will you be on? I'll be up the same week at Fin and Feather on the river. I have the Navionics app on my phone...worked GREAT for the Manitou, but this is my first time on Eagle.

I primarily fished the West Side but it was 1977-1981. Thinking on going back!! Stayed at South Shore Lodge at the time and put boat in at Pine Beach Resort.

If you are looking for a chip check out the Navionics + you can download the areas you want to fish example download Eagle Lake and the state of Wisconsin, and LOTW it allows up to 2gb of data on the chip. http://www.navionics.com/en/navionicsplus
