So last night I found the best line cutter ever. Cuts power pro clean and quick, now there are a pair of pounders sitting on the bottom of the lake, figured the first one was a fluke, the second one I knew something was wrong..... Nice little chip on the tip guide.

What kind of tip should I get for a replacement? If it matters I fish until I can't get the boat in the lake, so it needs to be able to handle the cold with a pounder.

Thanks
Brian

Probably most tips will work well enough but if you want one that won't chip you might want to look into one of the solid carbide tip tops. I don't think they ever groove and you shouldn't ever get a chip in one. Not sure if any of them are better than others.
