Location: Northern Wisconsin | I broke the lips on a couple big games and I am wondering the best way to glue them back in. What kind of glue would you guys recommend? |

| Not sure what you mean when you say you "broke" the lip, but if you simply need to glue the diving lip back into the slot, you can use Devcon 2 ton epoxy. Give it about an hour or two to dry before you use the bait.
They also make 5 minute epoxy, but it yellows a lot quicker. It will also work if you're impatient.
In either case, clean out the lip slot first by trying to carefully scrape out the remnants of the old glue and also clean up the lip the same way. |

| remember scuff the new lip with sandpaper. with epoxy it will hold better |

Location: NorthCentral WI | I like to drill a few small holes (1/8" or so) through the lip on the end going into the lure. Make sure to fill the holes with epoxy when you slide the lip in, once hardened the lip will be "pinned" with epoxy in a couple of spots and very strong. Then I use a toothpick to apply epoxy and flow it evenly around the entire lip.
For what it's worth I've made plenty of dud lures where I've taken the lips out afterwards to reuse and if they don't have holes drilled through they come out MUCH easier.

Location: Oregon | If the lure is solid plastic I have found Super Glue to be the best. Epoxy works, but if you hit it against the pavement it will pop loose. Try this with super glue and it won't budge. Maybe experiment a little bit..........not sure how well the super glue would work with wood.
