| I have the 2 piece and it's very nice. It hasn't slipped at all in the close to 100 hours I have fished with it. |

Hi Matt,
Are you talking about my TI telescopic rod collapsing during fishing?? I have yet to have one person email me to tell me this over the last 2 years and we have sold well over 2000 telescopic rods so far. If this was my rod, please email me ASAP. I would have a few questions for you. We spent a lot of time designing the telescopic portion to not collapse during fishing as this was a complaint about other rods prior to us making our telescopic. It you don't mind, email me so I can chat with you about it. Very interested.
Thanks,
James

Location: Hayward, WI | If it were me I'd go with the telescopic but I like that I can push the rod down into the butt, reel the line up tight and be done, with a nice clean package. Breaking down a 2 piece rod always seems like a messier situation with more chance to tangle - BUT would be shorter and fit in pretty much any rod locker.
Never used the two piece. Never had an issue with the telescoping feature either. |

Location: Detroit River | I like my telescopic. Never had any issues with the rod going back into the handle. I've never been a fan of 2-piece rods. |

| I fish both, but my rods I use for musky, tarpon, tuna and such are all 2 piece. I have never had any issues with 2 piece rods and I now have all my rods made as 2 piece models if possible. No difference in performance from my one piece and much easier to store. BR |
