My net net went overboard last night on Waubesa on the north side of the big rock pile. Tried to snag it and couldn't get it. If anyone happens to catch it feel free to contact me.

Thanks,
Kirk

My Beckman Magnum XD fin saver went overboard trolling at night on Dogtooth ~4 years ago too, under similar circumstances - had netted large walleye, net was laying on rear deck, didn't realize part of the bag was still in water - caught next fish - no net. Thank goodness I had my back up Husky Muskie in the truck. I feel your pain!

Good luck!

I will offer a tip in order to avoid losing a net! I have a Frabil power catch and I removed the rubber handle and filled the entire handle with cut up pieces of those swimming noodles. I shoved in as many pieces as would fit and now my net floats perfectly level. Cut a noodle into quarters and then cut 8-10" pieces and start filling the handle with them. Its a cheap way to save a $200+ net!

Sprayed the inside of my net handle with expanding foam and now it floats.

Genius indeed. There's a spare swim noodle in the shed and it's going in the net handle ASAP.
