Location: Tennessee | Just curious. I love the handles on the big TI rods and I'm looking around at 6-6'9" rods for jerkbaits and gliders. No one seems to offer much over 12-13" handle length on these rods. |

Location: Michigan | Great question... I just bought some 7 footers for traveling, and butts are too short! |

Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | I don't know if this is true, but jsut a thoery. I believe it is because if you take a 7' rod and have a 20" handle. that is only 5'8" of actuall rod. IMHO it would take away some of the rod blanks benefits. Not sure what exactly... but you never know. |

Location: Minneapolis, MN | I've been thinking about having a custom 7'6" rod built using a TI blank and having the handle extended 3-4 inches so it would end up being 7'9" or 7'10" but still let me work it like a 7'6" rod for jerk baits. |

| Really no market is my guess. Lamiglass used to have a figure 8 special, I think a shorter rod with longer handle for a figure 8. BR |

They only have a 13" grip. |

Location: Tennessee | Yep I may still get a 7ft TI to try but I don't mind giving up abit of actual rod length to elongate the handle. I'm going to check with the guy that made a couple rods local for me and see what he might could do |

Location: Gilberts IL/Rhinelander WI | Get whatever rod you want and have it extended. I've had a bunch done by Franks custom rods as well as a couple by thorne bros. Its probably cheaper than you think. All mine work great, I actually have them all flared to a thicker cork on the last 3". |

Location: Ludington, MI | Might check Okuma's lineup. All of those I've seen seem to be over-handled rather than under. |
