This has been my worst year so far with the fishing being terrible. I dont get fishing much but when i do the fish dont seem to be biting is it the weather?
Anyone else have the same problem this year?

This year has been really tough. The night night has been non existent compared to last year. Feeding windows seem extremely short. Just one of those years I guess...

I've been getting plenty of bites doing normal things. (throwing bucktails) The problem has been that I can't land them! Horrible year for me! I think this year has been hit or miss with little consistency. I have one good day, then a few really bad ones. To me it's the weather...

very slow year for me as well. Caught quite a few fish in Canada but on my home waters in the metro it's been dismal.

I have had between 20 and 30 fish try to eat my lures and completely miss and I have lost another 4. This year has been tough.

I had the dropsies bad this year as well! Many hook ups with few in the bag...just gets under you skin after a while! I did break the streak with a 48 and a 51 last weekend though. Man did that feel good.

Lot of rain and river flooded pretty bad last spring and Rock River near Rockford was so high for a long time until now down but so far summer is not that warm so I got few followers, lost few fish and got a 42 inch last week. Looking forward to middle of August until ice up!
