When do you guys generally start burning blades? What water temps do you look for?

I'd go more by what the fish are feeling. Sometimes it works on opener and later in the year and sometimes mid summer you have to slow down. Mix it up and see what the fish are feeling.

This year everything seems to be completely random. I feel like I am reeling too fast with the revo 60 hs as the guys in my boa with the slower gears seem to move more fish.

Agree, I always burn every 2 hrs. Whistle them in when all else fails.
