I'm in need of two things: the tool that is included in the fudally weight kit (I tried ordering a kit but they weren't available at R&H) because I can't seem to find a long screw that has the same diameter to make my own, and screws for screw-in weights. I broke some screws and it would be a pity to have to throw away the weights because I can't get the screws. Same problem, I can't find the right diameter over here.

Can anybody help me with either the screws or the tool? Any tips for making your own tool are well appreciated as well. THanks

Divani, the screws you need are 6-32unc. I am 99% sure of that, but they will probably be very hard to find in Europe.
All of the weights I have, already have the screw in them. Are you trying to make your own? I don't recall the tool you are talking about, as I haven't weighted any lures for a long time. I think there were two different styles of wood nuts that came with the kits, if memory serves. The inserts for plastic lures use a 1/4-28 thread and are easy to tap with a standard tap.
Shoot me an email, it's in my profile, if I can be any more help. Mike Jensen

sledge51 thanks for your explanation. I asked around and the local shops didn't have that screw. The screw was in the weight originally but somehow I broke the screw on some baits when trying to unscrew it and now I have weights that are useless. So I thought I might try replacing the screws.

muskie treats, if you can get a couple (10-20 or so) that would be nice
