Location: The desert | This fish and Hulbert's fish would be excellent to post side by side with the "64". It would put that "debate" to rest. All 3 are terrific fish, but two of them are in a league of their own. |

Take an other look, bump board is 60" middle of pump board is at the beginning of the pelvic fins, with lots of fish left to the tail. The girth on this thing is amazing compared to Hulberts. |

| I think this fish just caught is even more impressive looking. At 57x25 It has such uniform girth. https://www.facebook.com/Maynard.lake.trophy.fishing
3 fish at 57"+ caught within a short timeframe, but still people don't believe there are 60"+ fish out there. |

57's are caught every year, 60's on the other hand have yet to grace a bump board. It only takes one to get people to believe, but there is a pretty big difference between 57 and 60, especially with a growth rate of a mature fish. How many inches a year does a 50 plus inch fish grow? We would all love to see a 60 inch fish, we are all just still waiting:-) |

| Its a nice fish but little girth in the back half of fish. Typicall GB summerfish which will formula high. Hen needs to catch this fish later in the year to get 50 pounds.
Maybe 45 pounds. I have caught a lot of fish on GB and I carry a scale. They formula a lot higher in the summer then they actually are. In the fall the formula is only a little higher as the fish fills in.
This fish will put on 10-15 pounds next three months.
Knowking Mike Dalakis I am sure he is not calling it a 50 pounder. He wants this fish in a couple months when it will be 50 pounds.

| Dalakis fish by the way is a lot heavier than Hulbert fish.
I doubt Hulbert fish is more than 38 pounds as the bumb board was wider than the fish. Nice long fish but every other fish out of that area always comes with a girth. They measure every big fish out there to see girth. The fact they did not do this one they know it ws a long old spear ready to die.
Those really old fish are long and they lose a lot of there girth before they die.
