| Saw a guide blow torching some
Double ten blades in his boat today....can anyone fill me in on what in the world he was doing besides trying to start his boat on fire lol??? I predicted getting the sticker off or make a buckle blade more of a black or dark nickel look but you would think a guide would have enough baits for that kind of stuff??? |

| If I was a guide, I'd do #*#* like that just to mess with people's heads.
"Shhh. Nobody knows about this! And don't tell anybody, or pretty soon everyone will be doing it and the fish will get conditioned! Anyway, man, if you heat these things up the metal softens and makes the blades flex - gives the lure a whole different sound and vibration!! I had a couple bucktails burn up in a fire, so I saved the blades and re-tied them. Caught more fish on those two baits than any of my other double tens combined. Since then I've been heating all my blades. These lures are AMAZING now!" |

| My guide last week did this to blades with reflective tape to heat up the glue to make sure the reflective tape continues to stick instead of peeling off... |
