Going to the V in August, just wondering what feedback anyone has that has camped there. I have stayed at McKinley and enjoyed my stay there (nice amenities) but they can't get me in with an electric site without moving campsites mid-trip.

Any other feedback on the other campgrounds there? HooDoo Point? etc?

Thanks,

Steve Weyers

Hey steve, I stayed at hoodoo point with the family two years ago. We enjoyed ourselves and I will be headed back there with a buddy in august. Hoping to have the whole family back out there next summer. Russ

HooDoo Point is a nice camp...
Fortune Bay has a nice camp... Swimming pool, Casino....... And the casino restaurant stays open till 2:00 am. They have 2 Bars and 2 Restaurants
Their Golf Course is Top 5 in the State,...Very Nice

Their Docks are second to none With video surveillance ........ 24 hrs . right on Everetts Bay, and out of the wind......

Thanks for the feedback on HooDoo and a couple more options for "tenting it"

There are a few nice tent options near Frazier bay that allow you to fish anywhere on the lake. No electric obviously lol
