Has anyone ever hired this guide on LSC? The price seems to good to be true but if anyone has hired him or had any experience with him please post it.

This is his first year guiding. Chris does catch a ton of fish.

Better to call, and learn if he is taking trips yet. I know he just completed his Captain's class about two months ago. But I am not sure where he is at with the USCG Certification and DNR boat inspection process.

This usually takes a few months to get all ducks in a row, after completing the class.

I fished with Spencer Berman when he was guiding in MN. I think he is guiding on LSC now. He is a good guy to share a boat with and knows his stuff.

Trolling call Fins and Grins or Heat Wave Charters. Jason and Matthew from Fins and Grins and Craig from Heat Wave are great guys. If you want to cast Call Spencer Berman. I highly recommend these guys and better call asap. They get booked early.

I have fished with Chris on LSC and he is very knowledgeable on the lake. I would make it a point to hire him.

Jon Bondy or Kevin Long. Both been guides there a long time and grew up there.

I will confirm that Fins n Grins, and Spencer get on fish. But I believe the question was about Chris Mahan. I've fished with Chris. He definitely knows his way around the lake and puts multiple 50+'s in the boat each year. He is not a full time guide yet, which is probably why his prices are more competitive. He's spent a TON of time on Lsc, and it's paid off for him.

My apologies go out to Chris. I misread the post too quickly and thought you were asking for LCS Guide. I don't know Chris but it sounds like he knows his stuff.

I also have fished with Chris. He'll definitely put you on fish and he's caught some impressive specimens!
