| were you casting to the left or right when you hooked it? I've been casting left so far this year but no 57"ers so I'm thinking about switching sides.

| greenejeans - 7/16/2013 9:29 AM Another Minnesota Mille Lacs giant.Wonder how many people will be back to the big pond now.Congrats on fish... I'm guessing not many. Every year there are a few giants caught on M.L., and very few muskie fishermen.

Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | Thanks for all the comments guys!! They are greatly appreciated!! She was a giant for sure. Here are a few details about this fish since I have been getting a zillion emails, messages, texts and phone calls about it...which are all greatly appreciated!! She was caught Sunday night...around 8:30 pm. I was throwing in my favorite bucktail...the Dadson Blade Baits Musky Bullet on my new Thorne Bros custom 9'4 XXH Tackle Industries black rod....she smoked the bait about half way back and I had no idea how big she was. A few big power runs and one scary moment when she jumped as she was netted, but everything went smoothly. Once in the net, I looked and thought she was about 54 or so....but the bump board told different a different story. 57.25....amazing fish and released to be caught again! |

Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | You guys crack me up...thanks for the continued interest! Also been getting a lot of questions about what reels I use for burning...and for many years its always been Shimano's. I personally use the LJV's for burning but my clients have really enjoyed the power of the new 400D's as well. |
