Any tips on these. I have never used a Phantom and most of the videos I can find deal with the smaller ones.

I was at Rollie and Helens and mentioned I was going to Vermillion again in October and I ended up getting a 12" Phantom and a big 11' Martin.

Never used either bait. Last year i used just rubber and was looking to throw them a curveball this year.

I really like the wide glide they have. You better have a big stick to throw them because they are hefty. I caught a fat 42" last fall on a 12" phantom and now I have two more colors waiting for the water to cool off. Large glide baits have become a go to for me once the water starts to cool.

I also like the one I have the first time using it I got a monster 28" but had tons of fish up on it that day and a few swipes

Use lots of "controlled slack" when casting the phantom, like previously mentioned, it has a massive glide and the jerk through the slack helps get it going. The 12 inch phantom is one of my favorite lures, get at least a follow almost every day I throw it, and I have caught fish during all seasons on it.

Good luck!
