Do you remember having a husband and wife as clients on their anniversary back when you were guiding?
Dave and Jean Rohde said to say hi. Dave says"Oh, the walleyes we caught while muskie fishing with Steve!"

Yes I do, very nice folks. Lived over by Lena, or in that area, I think. I have often wondered what happened to them; great to hear they are well. We did catch some really big 'eyes...and I remember breaking a 5/0 Mustad jig hook on one of the largest muskies I have ever had hooked with dave one snowy, windy November day on Pelican.

This sounds like just another typical day of fishing with Mr. Worrall![]

Dave told me that you you guys either fished on flat glass water or on 2.5 foot breakers. He said it always seemed to be one or the other! And big smiles as he told me about it.[]

Dave was an expert on bringing tough fishing conditions to Pelican. If it was Fall, it was GOING to snow. If i was Summer, it was GOING to be F.A.C. and hot. What is he doing with himself these days?

Dave lives in Coleman and works at a local factory. I think he gets over to Lake Michigan to fish the salmon runs. He said that he still has some creatures from you and still has use of that Tuffy tri-hull.
