Ive got one exactly like it in my antique fishing collection. I believe mine was from the 40 s it doesnt have any makers name on it but the same metal coil rod with a mother of pearl handle. to me its a conversation piece, dont think much of the idea. Figure 8s would be kind of tough LOL. Bill

I can't see a good reason to use one in a boat, but they could come in handy casting from a wooded shoreline.

I would rather use a broom stick at least you could figure 8 a fish, especially on the best figure 8 lake around.

I was wondering if this was a joke and he was going to start laughing as I watched it...he never did. This was possibly worse then most info-commercials. I will never get those two minutes back again.
