Anyone try one out yet. Wondering how the action is and if anyone has landed any fish on one.

A buddy of mine has one. Action is super sweet! But I don't think he has one on that bait yet though. But with how cool the action is, i'd bet it wont be too long.

Here is a link to the bigwoodmuskylures site with a vidoe of the action if you have not seen it.

They have a really sweet action on them. Check out YouTube for a few videos too. I think "Lures In Action" has some videos.

I've used mine a bit, got a nice pike on the 13" over Memorial Weekend on the St. Croix. No musky action yet.

Still ironing out how to best present the thing. It is like a glider in that you impart the action, but the bait seems to dart more than it glides. Has a nice belly wobble and an awesome hang time. The hang time makes me want to pause it more, but that also slows it down. Bait seems to run pretty shallow. Still working out the bugs in the presentation...

The above isn't a knock on the bait. I think it has potential, I just need to get comfortable with how best to maximize it's properities.

I love the Shadzilla but am not a huge fan of this bait yet... I have given both sizes some water time and to Brads point it does run shallow and you really need to give it a ton of time to sink. I plan on getting some weight in mine to see if I can modify to be a little quicker/deeper.

Thanks for the info guys. On a side note, i have trouble keeping the tail moving on the regular shadzilla in the 8 any tips on how to keep it moving. I've tried slowing down and speeding up gone wide and tight and it always seems to stop.

That sounds like an issue with your particular bait. Perhaps there is something torn or stuck in the tail? I've found the shadzilla to be a very easy bait on the Figure 8, doesn't take much speed to get the tail thumping and it runs true even at high speed. (Tranx burning)
