Contact both Bill Schwartz and Jason Smith, I believe they both have trolled with wire line. They both are members and have both posted on this site.

Wire line has it's good and bad. When it's good it's great, but when it's bad it is real bad. Before the super braids I would use it a lot. I liked the 20 or 25 pound Courtland single strand. The BIG advantage is the feel and extra vibration that you get. The bad is it can kink easy and this will weaken it and cause it to break. (I have lost some nice fish because of this)
The 7 strand is a little more forgiving and will not coil up and kink as easy. If you are going to run multiple lines and have your deep flat lines wire you will want to use 7 strand. This way when you stop the boat when a fish hits it will not want to coil up when it goes slack. If you want to run 1 line per person and troll tight to a break line the single strand is the way to go. The baits will run deeper so you need less line out, now they will be closer to the boat. This will help out in following a steep break.
