| I am looking for some double 9 and/or double 10 bucktails that are much heavier than the standard Double Cowgirls or other similar bucktails. I've experimented with adding weights a few different ways, but I haven't been impressed with the results and would like to find someone or a company who can make me some that are double or triple the weight of a standard cowgirl.
If anyone has tried this and has any feedback also it would be appreciated. I know the new Trolling Girl is heavier, does anyone have much experience casting it? If so, how deep does it run and is there a noticeable increase in casting distance? |

| I would recommend contacting Dan from Spanky Baits. His baits are much heavier, and he will make you whatever you want. |

| For sure call Dan at Spanky Baits or go to spankybaits.com
He already makes heavy bucktails and can make them with more weight if ordered that way he does it for me all the time.

Location: Thief River Falls MN | The Musky Bullet is a nice bait, casts well and didnt have issues with blades fouling on leader. Spankies also get a vote too. |

Location: Iowa Great Lakes | Spanky gets my vote to, he has built me a couple extra weighted ones that work great for getting deeper and I also run a 1oz weighted leader on my bucktail rod when fishing blades deep.... |

Location: Twin Cities, MN | I would reach out to Spanky's also.
They made me up a couple single skirt ones with their standard heavier weight and double 10 blades that are great to cast and look very good in the water.
I am not sure where guys are ordering their Dadson's from, I tried hard to pick some up this spring and could not find anyone in the US that had stock to pick from.

Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | Not sure if your into it or not. But make your own dude.
I have been making a ton lately and playing around with weights and what not. I built 3 that are 4oz or bigger. Largest being 5.1oz. There are ways to do it and generally its cheaper to make one or two. The other cool thing about it, is if you do make your own, and catch a fish. Then you can know that it was all you from bait birth too fish in net.
Seems like a lot of guys like Spanky baits. I have never thrown them, but may have to give one a shot at some point

I'm looking for something similar in profile to a normal DBL Cowgirl or Spankys DBL 10. I understand it will most likely be a little larger to accommodate more weight, which is fine. I'll call Dan at Spankys and see what they can do. I don't really want a bunch of them, I don't use bucktails very often. I considered making my own but since I don't use them often I feel it wouldn't be worth it. Thanks for the suggestions. |

| Dadsons Bullet are the best on the market IMO
Spankys are good but I dont like the .40 blades. Prefer the thinner blades as the open up further, moving more water and riding higher.
Dadsons are PERFECT for casting into the wind, but also have the thinner blades so you can run them high and fast or low and slow |
