| I like the more "palmable" NaCl 50, but with the smaller spool can it handle magnum bulldawgs and DC10s well? I read in my pro tactics book that you want a wide spool for heavy baits and double tens? or does that not matter? |

| I think you will be fine. The only difference would be at the start of the cast and I believe the difference at 100 feet was less than 6 inches, so you should not see much difference between the 50 and 60 with 80lb braid. |

Location: Eagan, MN | You won't have any problem with the spool width. I use a 300d for big cranks and plastics and the spool is barely as wide as my thumb. The nacl's are great reels, I'm running them also. |
