You might be waiting awhile for the "muskies are biting" sign to come on!

Save your gas money. Webster is dead.

Good luck if you decide to go!

If you are going to the Webster area, don't waste your time on Lake Webster. Tippicanoe or the Barbee chain are much better options.

Two weeks ago I was on a bulldawg bite, but after a round of (heavy) rain, the Webster action quit for me. I have heard good things about Barbee, but haven't gotten there recently. All that said, I still prefer Tippe - bigger fish. IMHO

that's solely based on my experience. I have had much more luck on Tippy and the Barbee chain. I know there has been some nice fish caught on Webster but I didn't have any luck.

From talking to the guides and Musky guys I know Webster has been tough. Tippy has been much more productive. That being said.......there is always someone who might have a productive pattern figured out on Webster. For someone coming in cold, Webster will be challenging.

Fished webster Sunday morning. Water temps were in the 80 degree mark. Marked bait schools in 25-35 foot of water along the island, boat traffic was stupid. Didn't manage to move a single fish until I got to barbee in the afternoo
