Location: minocqua, wi. | What are the best "new" bait introductions you've utilized during the past 3-5 years or so. the double-10, bulldawg and weagle game has changed a lot of what many of us did prior to 2005-2006 time-frame and many have carried that success forward to today with multiple duplications in their market niche, but what "recent" new bait concepts are you using with success? for me it's:
hardhead
medusa
bondy (still a newbie but have witnessed it's success)
anything else that's a bit out of the box from the older days that is in your line-up today?
i went 4-5 years without buying a bait until the ones i listed came around. |

| bondy kind of unique way to fish them in deep currents
and the most innovative cranks since years the headlock.very unique action and lips design.
thanks god because it was kind of boring to watch all those tuffshad,jake,wiley,parrywinkle copycat.ok some have made some minor change to the size & shape but once in the water most of them look the same.
i have seen other baits that i'll not tell the name,because they are way too much innovative to my taste,they scare me.

Location: Hayward, WI | For me it's the Hardhead. That bait is accounting for a good 50% of the fish in my boat each year. I think it's been around longer now but the Triple D is also a main player in my box in the last 5 years.

| I've only been in the game for 4 years so my mileage is probably different than some.
Tubes in general. I think the Waterwolf Gator is the best one, but they all do functionally the same thing

| On the bucktail side, I feel the need to mention Dreamcatcher lures. The reverse-tied hair is something I haven't seen before and it gives the lure a large profile and a much better pulsating action than standard blade baits. |

Location: Not far enough north! | Been using hardheads since they first came out and tried to keep them on the down low but it seems the cat is out of the bag. Thanks guys... Had to go old school a little bit last year and I forgot how burts catch fish, used to put fish in the net on them consistently. |

I second this... last tournament where I live was won on dream catcher lure... we carry them in our shop, but I thought they weren't quite out out on the market yet. Want to buy one? Willy's musky lure shop Facebook just got them in.
I also like the tubes lots of follows.
Also NEW lures... anything different... our new hard body lure is just getting action left and right... I was shocked to say the least.... WOW totally new does turn their heads.... new lure not on the market yet that we made.... need to make sure it is quality before selling. I still recommend trying to make a persons own new lure. |

| Haven't caught anything on the standard size Medussas I have yet, but the mini-medussa has has provided me with my only multi-fish days. Had a hardhead, that I JUST GOT from RH and on the 3rd cast my leader snap decided to grenade. My hardhead now rests on the bottom of Monona where the Yahara river comes in. Oh well, I guess it is better that I lost it that way then have the leader snap break with a fish on.

Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | I would have to say that the Shadzilla is one of my favorites out there. LOVE that bait! I am getting into throwing rubber more and more and the medussa is a killer bait as well. |
