The local lake I like to fish is chalk full of small to medium size fish. Such a small lake (150acres) its not hard to find the fish. But it gets hit hard, both times I have been on it I have counted4-5 other boats fishing it. Well between the two trips we had about 22 follows which translated into two fish. One dink and one average fish. Any advice on turning these fish into bitters? I was thinking either something whacky that the fish have never seen before or something extremely realistic looking such as sucker swim baits.

You're on the right track. What I tend to do in pressured waters is go to the extremes such as really small or really big. You can also use crazy ugly colors, or my favorite technique, burning. Whether its cranks or bucktails, get em movin!

Location: sneaking out to get on the water ;-)
Pay attention to what others are throwing and do the opposite.

good advice above. definitley try something different. fast erratic baits with pauses do well on pressured water too.

The bigger fish are not going to hang out where all the pressure is and the small guys..... try fishing deeper or starting the structure earlier then others. They will hang off suspended and wait to feed... what is their pray in the lake tulipee, white fish, suckers, walleye? Go off a bit where the other boats are. We have a ton of lakes like you suggest... our homemade hard body lures turns a ton of fish on while store bought not so much... so different is WAY better from what I have seen.
