This line (I think new) is not mono nor braid. Supposed to cast well with limited stretch & very little memory. Anybody use it yet?

I tried some 17# for my jigging rod and really did not like it. It coils up really badly and is thicker than regular mono. Sopposidly its really smooth though and I know lots of other people like it, Maybe I'll give it another shot for bass, or trolling.

Hiya,
Doubt I'll use it muskie fishing at all but I used it bass fishing late last season and I loved it. Very easy casting and incredibly abrasion resistant. I didn't experience any coiling as one of the other posters mentioned. In fact my impression was there was virtually no spool memory at all. It does handle a bit different than regular mono, so it takes some getting used to, but I liked the stuff a lot.

Zach, did you use it on a spinning reel? If so, make sure when you spool that the line comes onto the reel from UNDER the actual plastic line spool, over the top if a baitcaster...easy to remember: UNDER SPIN, OVER cast. [:0]

Yes, it was on a spinning reel. I don't remember how I put the line on, but never had any problems with other brands of line.
