I have purchased two top raiders in the past yr and both of them roll over during the retrieve, one of them ran perfect until a 45.5 tiger inhaled it now it doesn't run well at all ! I also have two stompers that do the same - I have tried playing with the props , and up sizing hooks( to add center weight) and that hadn't done much at all . Anyone have any advice on how to fix this??

Sounds very much like the internal weight in the bait has broke lose. If you research the history on this topic, the top raider "fix" was mentioned in past posts. Don't throw the baits away. They can be fixed without too much difficulty.

Not to hijack the topic, but is the a way avoid them from going sub surface?
I use a super top raider and sometimes it dives down and runs about ½ inch under the surface, and it stops making the "pop" sound.

Perhaps it's leaking, I had plopper with the same problem.

Adjust the blade slightly on the super top towards the tail of the bait and this will help

I actually don't Mind if it rolls as long as it run back to the boat not pulling all over to one side. As for Hookups I have not had problems. I'm sure it Bugs you more then the musky as long as the prop is still working then I'm happy.

Try checking the shrink tubing on the rear hook. Sometimes it's on too far and it covers part of the shaft of the rear section. If you pull it back, or in my case, pull it off and put on a new piece, it should run perfectly.
