He describes the action much like a Phantom, but a little more erratic. Rod has been making and painting great baits for many years, and these are winners! Thank you Rod for the lure donation!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Today's auction is another one of the hottest baits on the market right now, the best 'skinny water' bucktail made, "The Flowage Boa". Thin but full ties, very lightly weighted, and rock-solid construction with awesome color combinations make this bait a winner- A solid 47" er was caught over the weekend on one actually. This auction gives the winner (4) lures to be customized as they wish with choices of...
- 1 or 2 #8 Colorado blades in your color choice
- 2 or 3 maribou ties, again in your choice of color
Thanks Flowage Boa for the lure donation!
Good luck and thanks for looking!

| Musky anglers and collectors alike, check this out: "D-B Creeper" by WakeMaker Lures. 6 ½" long "DB"/Drop-Belly, one of Gale Oxley's most rare body styles in orange/black reptile scale pattern. Lure never fished, but has very minor imperfections from when the lure was water-tuned: light scratches on the eyes from contact with the wings, and a few tiny hook pointers. Ready to fish or collect. Minimum bid: $100.00. This one is special, folks... thanks for looking!

First is a floating Nitro which works great equally as a crankbait or a jerkbait. But the other one is special- Rogers prototype of his new lure "Da Ratt" series 2. This is his actual prototype, and can be fished or collected. Knowing how good all his other lures are like the Hardhead, you know these are gonna rock as well!

All of Rod's gliders have that smooth glide with an erratic kick that ski's love. The picture doesn't do justice to this lure's paint job!

Lure making master Rod Provost donated this black and yellow flapper, made in the modern style of Wick, Ry, and Wirth. Body is 5.75" long and has heavy duty construction, fine attention to detail, and top quality components to make this bait a winner- and the sounds it puts out WILL call them toothies in to dinner. Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | People keep asking, so here they are- Musky Chimes Dying Sucker! These 8.5" baits are versatile and can be used as a crankbait, a "chop" jerkbait, or a glider. You are bidding on a pair of these prototypes, with one of them being a suspending model and the other a sinking model. By prototype, it is meant that these were the lures he used to "dial in" his weighting on the baits; The epoxy topcoats may not be perfectly glass smooth or there may be other minor cosmetic details- but the actions on these baits are right-on! He has tested and tuned these and they are ready to fish. Amazing works of art here, and they catch fish! Thanks Musky Chimes for the donation and everyone for looking...

10" custom colored Weagle donated by our own Steve Worrall. Also in this auction is a 7" Doc in the popular "Firebelly" flavor donated by "fishingfool".
These are both tough plastic lures with proven actions and high hook-up rates. Thanks for looking!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | CHA-CHING, check 'em out! These are the original, real-deal baits that started it all. And if you look closely on the perch model, it has stainless split steel rings on it before Joe made his own. These are valuable as collectibles or for fishing, and although the packages are a little rough these are still very cool. Donated anonymously, these are a helluva package, so bid high... and thanks J.S. for the donation!

Obviously pre-ROI, but what makes this one special is it is one of the VERY few ever made with a painted lip. Belly-matching orange under the lip and back-matching black on the lip top. Fish it or collect it, you can't lose! Thanks for looking and thanks JS, for the lures...

Also for bidding is a custom show color hot glitter perch 9.5" Krave by Musky Armor. Note: this bait has been professionally adapted for a screw-in weight system with (2) inserts in the belly. This gives you the ability to adjust the lures action as well as buoyancy, a.k.a. "hang time". These weight systems give lures so much more versatility, if you haven't tried them , you should. Thanks for looking!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Muskiefirsts "Lineman" / Bill donated this sweet black/red glitter tailbait to be auctioned today. It looks like any other tailbait but i can tell you it is not! First of all it's built solid and has all "thru-wire" construction. Next it has a drop belly hook so it keels better and won't turn over with faster retrieves. And finally the tail section is built on a slightly oversized tube, so i'm sure it clunks and bangs around reeeal good! This is a quality bait and it needs a good home, so bid up people! Thanks Bill for the donation and all for looking!

They're baaaack! Yessir, back by popular demand the last pair of Musky Chimes "Dying Sucker"! Here's a pic of one that juuuust missed 50" on a Dying Sucker from a few weeks ago. Thanks Musky Chimes for the donation and everyone for looking...

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Rod Provost is a lure making maniac, but that's a good thing for us. Today we have two minnowbaits to auction, and these are BALSA! Yep, nothing has action as lively as balsa, and these thru-wire beauties are sweet. The top bait is a 9" silver shad and the bottom is an 8" redhorse. Thanks for looking and thank you again, Rod, for the lure donations!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | It's "Jerkbait Thursday" and we got a great lineup today. These are various production lures, but custom painted by... yup, Rod Provost! At the top is a 6" white belly perch with the split ringed tail for a spinner blade (if desired). Next is a 7" Llungen Jerko glider in a great walleye pattern; and finally a killer 6.5" pike pattern Undertaker- an ORIGINAL from the very first batch yeeears ago. This is one of Steve Worralls favorite gliders, and this paint job just isn't done justice by the pic- it is super sharp! Thanks for looking, and again Mr. Provost for the baits!

He said it was cast a few times but is as close to new as it gets and that's AOK with me. The bait is a silver/black sucker pattern, and the hard-body is 5.5", almost 13" to the tail. Everyone is talking about the Hardhead cuz it works, and they are in demand, so get it here and help support Lisa all at once. Thanks for looking and to jasonbomber for the donation!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Check out this awesome display of talent by our own Beav on this 10" glider jerkbait. Donated by pikiespawn/Mark, this is the 1st of 3 in his "Natural" series to be auctioned. Wednesday and Thursday will be the remaining two lures of the series, and these really are something. Again the pictures can't do justice to the artistry of the bait (I'm blaming it on a lousy camera, not myself). Notice how the gold scale blends subtly into the grain of the wood, wow. Thanks for looking, and to Mark for the lures!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | MuskieFirst 's own T-bone Blades graciously donated these lures for today's auction. First up is arguably the most popular muskie lure ever made, the Suick. This unweighted 10" model is in an orange bellied firetiger lace pattern- a killer color! The second lure is the ever popular double #8 bladed Dominatrix from Tackle Industries in brass blade / copper/gold skirt flavor. Nice combination of baits here, perfect for ski's this time of the year! Thanks for looking, and thanks to T-Bone Blades for the donation!

Musky products dropped a big ol' box of baits on me for the auction- enough for 3 days, so here's day #1; A pair of Raptor chop/slash style jerkbaits, with the 8" in silver shiner and the 6" in gold rapala. The 8" is 4 oz. and nearly neutral buoyant, made to dive deep and hang there in the strike zone. The 6" is more buoyant at 1.5 oz., and is great for fishing fast or working cover without getting fouled. Check out there lineup at http://www.fatazmusky.com/ Thanks for looking and thanks Andy for the donations!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | We have more great lures from Andy / FatA.Z. Musky products- but this is an exclusive "Sneak Peak" package, meaning these aren't even available to the public yet! (will be available this fall)
At top is the Soft-tail Raptor in perch pattern. It's 8" long (not including the tail) 4oz., and again is weighted to be nearly neutrally buoyant for a great 'hang time'. That tail makes it come alive in the water!
On bottom is a perch pattern Stinger at 8" long, 5oz,- a really 'user-friendly' glider that boasts great hookups from it's 3 treble hooks. It has a nice wide glide and a fairly fast sink rate with a hint of wobble on the drop. This bait has quite a few fish to it's name already including some big girls!
This is an opportunity to own baits before they are even available to the public!
Thanks Andy, and all for looking!

Left crank is a custom painted River Run Shark; at right is an unknown crank, but built like a tank- heavy duty plastic body and great prism n' paint scheme. The middle one is special tho: it's one of the first-run DDD's (2003/4?) and was painted by one of the original basement painters, Mike Greg of MRG baits. Now retired, this was his cisco pattern and it is GORGEOUS! Thanks for looking-

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Anthony Ashby / RIVER MUSKY was kind enough to donate one of his Hot Tail gliders today for the auction. This well made bait is 10"s long with the tail, and is the "Red-Head Perch" flavor which is coated with 3 coats of Etex for durability. The Hot Tail glider has a great side to side action with a surprising slight up and down motion as well- but best of all it has a hard pronounced wobble on the fall, and that's M-O-N-E-Y! Finally, these baits are nicely weighted to fish deeper than most gliders out there, a plus that few others lures can offer.
Thanks to Anthony for the donation and all for looking.

Look at it compared to a Topraider... HA!! Thanks Andy for the baits and all for looking!

Rod Provost has done it again, this time donating 2 gorgeous maribou spinnerbaits to the auction- both almost 10"s from tip to tail. At top is an awesome 3-willow bladed model in firetiger, and at the bottom is a double copper Colorado model in "Darkstar". I'm setting the minimum on this auction at $30- why? Because i want them, but if someone is willing to pay more then at least i know it was good for Lisa. Thanks again, Rod, and thanks to everyone for looking...

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Rod Provost (yeah the guy is like frickin' Santa Claus) again has donated these awesome custom baits. Top bait is a sweet soft-tail glider in Golden Shiner, and at bottom is a frog patterned Provost-Bug (think Jitterbug, but WAAAY better! Both have appx. 6" bodies and are about 10" in full length. CHOMP!
Thank you again, Rod for the great lures and everyone for looking-

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | This is the final auction for Lisa, and we end with none other than a bait by... anyone? Rod Provost! This is a 6.5" long x 1 3/8" diameter jointed creeper painted in 'psychodelic', and features the old style "Musky Munk" blade at the rear for additional noise. With it's wire-thru construction and Rod's proven quality throughout, it's a winner! Thanks Rod for the lure and everyone for looking!

| Flyfishing is the winner of the last Lisa auction, congrats and thank you! I am very appreciative to the fact you as well as others, bid on lures in blind faith to help this cause. What i didn't say in my description was that i am throwing in a beautiful Trueglide bait as a surprise thank you. This was a totally spontaneous decision and i wish i had more to give to you all, but this was just a parting gift from the aucton. PM coming your way, and thanks to Rod foir AAAALLLL the donations and all for looking.

| i'm afraid i can't end this tale with a happy ending- with great sadness i wanted to let you know of our friend Lisas passing. she fought long and hard against the cancer that had spread within her, but was full of wit and humor til' the very end. i know how much you all have done supporting her in the past with donations and kind words of encouragement. please take a moment to read a little about her, and if there is any way you can make a contribution regardless of the amount, it will be greatly appreciated by her family. let me personally send a heartfelt thank you to all the muskie community for the support you've shown...
