Since you asked..
Patriot Powerboats has three hulls and 9 interiors that are Muskie designs coming for 2003.

1690 Tiller--
This boat is 16'9", 75" beam, aluminum flush lock flush mount storage and livewell lids, super grade Marine carpet, 19 gallon fuel tank, has a 52" well, big rod locker, good bow storage, plenty of room for batteries, an optional rear deck, a very workable front deck, walkable side tanks, and is a low profile V hull. This boat will retail with a 50hp Mercury 4 Stroke, custom trailer, and all freight and rigging in the mid-teens.

1710 Tiller, Side Console & Center Console-- Same Muskie Interior as the 1690, built on a big water Deep V framework. With a 75 4 stroke, it will RETAIL in the low $21 K area. This is a big boat, not to be confused with most 17' models.

2050 Tiller, Side Console, and Center Console-- I am really excited about this boat! It is absolutley muskie all the way, and the walleye guys will like it too. Rated for 250HP side console and 135 tiller, this big water screamer will be perfect for the big muskie waters in the upper Mid West and Canada. The boat is tough, built like a tank and offers a great ride, and has the creature comforts one wants. Retail on the side console with a 250 XL EFI or a 225 Opti Max XL, 9.9 4 stroke kicker, Minn Kota or Panther power lift for the 9.9, Tandem trailer with spare, carrier, disc brakes, tongue jack, aluminum mags, stainless Mercury 3 blade performance prop, rigging, troll motor, two high end sonars, batteries, freight, water ready, will be 3 to 5 thousand less that what the competition will quote. To give you an idea, the tiller model, boat motor and trailer, with a Merc 125 ELHPT, Minn Kota Maxxum 74#, and two good sonars will retail out the door, tax included, for about $27900.
[:bigsmile:]

SO! That's what is new with Patriot Powerboats.

Steve;
In looking at bay boats or center consoles ,it seems
that many buyers use for trolling.Why do manufacturers
place console so far back when space is needed if
trolling?

Mostly for ride. The further forward the console, the rougher the ride. The Patriot has an amidship center console, pretty much at the pivot point of the hull.

I have several dealers ready for product. We should have 4 rigs at the show, at least that is the plan at this point!

Starcraft has a new fiberglass boat out this year with a pretty reaonable pricetag. 1800 Pro Sport, seen it at the Mpls boatshow. Boat, motor (135 opti), and tandem trailer for 19,995. It's not a true muskie boat but it does have decks on both ends.

Ranger has the NEW 621vs. Same as my 620vs just a little more length added on. I also beleive the rod storage in the front deck holds 8ft rods and bigger.

Tuffy boats will have several boats at the Musky Expo this weekend. It seems they have a new dealer in the Milwaukee area. Rumor has it that this dealer also has a dealership in northern Wisconsin and this will a second location for them. Can't wait to see the new Magnum. I wonder if the dealer will also have his Ranger line from his northern store with him?
