| I found a Brand New Locator floating on Lake Waubesa Sunday after a huge storm, I plugged it in it works perfect.

If the locator has GPS, plug it back in and find out where it was last when it had power.

| Not sure what good that would do Gerard. I pull my units when I travel, I'm 60 miles away so imo it's kinda pointless, we know it was lost on the lake...your better off calling Lowrance with the serial number, maybe the owner had sent it in for service and they could give you their info.

and maybe they could help locate the owner. |

| I had called Humminbird- they just called back the unit is registered and they are contacting the owner to let them know I have it to come pick it up. So make sure you register your units so they can be traced back to you, if lost or stolen.
