Location: Minneapolis, MN | I live in MN and as the season doesn't open up for another two weeks I thought I might make the short trek to Wisconsin. Are there any decent musky lakes near the border? I live in the metro area so anything around 94 or 10 would be preferred.

| Deer, Bone, Cedar, Bear Trap/Wapo, Apple River Flowage are in Polk County and all an hour or less of a drive (depending upon what part of the metro you're coming from). All have decent muskie fishing. Depending upon who you ask, Deer and Bone numbers are down from recent spearing/harvest. |

| I fished Bone last year for opener when I was still living in Red Wing, we boated 3 ski's opening day and had another dozen follows throughout the weekend. The fall before that my buddy landed a 49" there. I do know that there has been some spearing issues there. |
