What kind of tatics do you use when the fishing in late fall snow storms?.

What kind of luck have you had when the boat is ankle deep in snow?.

How late in the year do you fish?

Jason,

I have had some of my best days dragging suckers (quick strike rigs) in the snowstorm. Usually it is too cold to cast at this time of the year. The other method that is excellent in the fall is slow trolling the big cranks (1.5mph to 2.0mph). The bait fish usually stack up really thick in the Fall. I will drive around looking for schools of baitfish. Once I locate a good school, I go to work picking it apart like a mid lake hump. Trying all sorts of baits until I connect with a fish. Once of my best baits in the Fall has been the Legend cranks (straight and Jointed). I can't wait to team them up with a couple of Slammer Deep divers this coming Fall.
