Location: Lake St Clair | I've got that exact setup. Haven't thrown anything yet cuz my season doesn't open for another 20 days.

Location: northern indiana | Mostly glide baits, bucktails, a few topwater and dawgs. Gonna be a multi purpose. Nothing in the pounder category. |

Location: northern indiana | Any other low profile reel setups I should consider before biting the bullet? I fish hard and just wanna make sure this will hold up to a little abuse. |

Location: Green Bay, Titletown, WI | I have that same set-up, just with a telescopic split grip. I use it for everything in my box. I don't throw pounders, but medussas and mag double dawgs are no problem. Double 10's are a cake walk. But it will still cast lighter baits like, suicks and top waters. I love my Nacl. Best reel I've ever used. You wont be disappointed. I bought my reel on here, $250 shipped. Rod I ordered straight from TI. |

  | What do you all think about a 300d on the same rod for double 8's, topwater, and shallow raiders? |

Call Jay at Smokey's on the Bay. Give him a call at 920 436 0600. They have some great prices on those reels there right now and Jay is "reel" good at shipping fast too. He will set you up!
