Location: Greenfield, WI | A 6" Slammer Crankbait or a Slammer Drop Belly Glider. Both are rigged for the first few weeks, after which I switch a 7" Slammer crank bait for the 6"er. I've been doing it for years that way. |

Location: sneaking out to get on the water ;-) | Depends on the year. Usually I start off with a bucktail if no luck I'll switch to phantoms or cranks. |

Location: SE Wisconsin | I've been throwing Dawgs and Super D's since early last week...
My favorite bait to snap on is one of my old 5" Slammers, but I also have a good bond with my Slidin' Shads. Darn you Mr. Kloet, why did you have to stop making baits?! |

Smaller ones, worked slow...........I like twitching smaller Crane type lures , Modified Husky Jerks.

Location: North Metro, MN | This small yellow & brown bucktail w/ a frenchy has always been good to me, the Silent But Deadly is always on one rod now since I started using it, and a beat up strike pro glide bait or baby squirk. One of those usually makes my day! |

Location: Muskegon Michigan | 205 Crane, Talonz Little Claws, and small Mepps buck tails. I got one on a 4.5 inch protoype glide bait this year .Most any 4 to 7 inch bait here in Michigan seems to get bit more than bigger stuff. It seems slower moving twitch bait/glide style lures are the ticket every year here in Michigan .As the water temps climb though we up size. Spring is different in other states. We start in late April here so we have pretty cold water on our opener. Mike |
