Location: Sussex, NJ | I just picked up a Rylure globe and was wondering when you guys toss and how fast you fish them. I just fish tail prop baits so this will be my first time throwing a globe. Is it kind of the same for tail prop baits or are there situations where a globe will prevail? Thanks! | |

Location: Eau Claire,WI | Ahhh Globes, my Favorite topwater! I like to fish them whenever the lure will not bounce off the ice. I use them on any conditions from sunny to cloudy/windy/ no wind to whitecaps. I like to fish them painfully slow,just enough to make the blades click,especially in heavy weeds. Run em a bit fast for covering water,slow down on key spots,weed clumps,points, wherever you think a fish might be.I use a special techniqe when fishing globes,I rarely watch the lure instead I listen to the blades,when they stop clicking I set the hook! NO kidding!!! Ry Lures are excellent lures,sound good,built strong.You might have to tweek the blades to make it sound right after getting a fish or 3. Enjoy!!!! Paul | |

Slow just a slight ticking sound.its not always about how much noise it can make

| If your used to fishing tail prop baits, the Globe might seem a bit quiet by comparison. Like Don said, it's not always about how much noise you can make. But, you should experiment with tuning the blades and you'll find you have a lot of options with the Rylure. For example, try pushing one of the blades forward at a fairly steep angle and it will sound like a completely different bait. | |

Location: Not where I want to be! | Globes are one of the best big fish baits, and they are rarely used. They can be fished in any condition, day or nite, rough or calm. I really like them in a good chop as the blade speeds up and slows down as the bait rides the waves. As previously stated retrieve just fast enough to get the blade to click or chatter. Suttle can be good. | |
